This hotel is a very nice place on the beach. Perfect to do the dolphin trips. Room and bathroom perfectly clean, AC was new and there was a heating device to get warm water for showers. The best feature of this hotel is really being able to take a swim and relax on the beach whenever we wanted.

We loved every minute of our stay at Dolphin Village. It is tucked away off the main road, through local fields and homes right on the beach. The rooms were nice and clean. There is a great outdoor area - hammocks and all. The food was AMAZING and the staff are incredibly warm and helpful!

Kalpitiya is located in Puttalam district, North Western province of Sri Lanka. It is known for its serene beauty. In the morning fishermen operate boat service for Dolphin watching for visitors. I was very lucky to see dolphins and turtles right off our shore!

When I arrived I got upgraded to a very nice room so that was awesome! They have a little restaurant hut on the beach where they serve food. The rice & curry is very good and the pancakes at breakfast are incredible.
